A sea turtle hatchling has never seen the ocean. It has no proof the ocean is there. Still, the moment it breaks through the sand and begins its life, it finds the brightest seam on the horizon and runs. That instinct-driven sprint toward an ocean it has never seen gave Turtle Run its name.

Before there is an audience for something new, there has to be at least one person who cannot stop seeing it. We start there.

We are drawn to work that feels personal, specific, and one of a kind... ideas that would lose their spark if they were sanded down to resemble everything else. As a storytelling partner, we help creators keep that spark alive through the thousands of practical decisions between the first idea and the moment an audience encounters it.

Turtle Run Entertainment is a Los Angeles–based, creator-first production company. Depending on the idea, the work may become a film, a television series, a podcast, a music video, a live event, an experience, or a medium that doesn't even exist yet.

Our projects include Chappell Roan’s first music video; a narrative short acquired by Searchlight Pictures following its Sundance premiere; and a video podcast that earned GLAAD and Queerty nominations in its first season before becoming a flagship series on iHeartPodcasts’ Outspoken Network.

Each began with more conviction behind it than proof. Somebody has to believe first. Somebody has to be willing to brave the elements, and make a break for it.
